This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Community Development Department and will report directly to the Supervisor – Education.
The Junior Supervisor – Education is responsible for implementing and ensuring the effective and sustainable execution of education programs in alignment with PTAR’s RIPPM. These programs are expected to deliver a positive impact on the community in South Tapanuli Regency, particularly across the 15 directly affected villages (DAVs) in Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Sciences; a Bachelor of Education is preferred.
- Preferably holds relevant certifications or has completed training related to education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Community Development and Empowerment (PPM), particularly in the education sector.
- Proven experience in developing Terms of Reference (TOR), proposals, Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for programs.
- Experience in end-to-end program initiation, from planning to monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with experience in managing teams or community groups.
- Proficient in preparing reports, delivering presentations, and conducting program financial analyses.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: experience in NGOs or educational institutions, or involvement in PPM programs within mining operations.
- Possession of a valid SIM A driver’s license and willingness to drive an operational vehicle as required.
