This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Facility & Services Department and will report directly to the Junior Supervisor – Travel Planner.
Role Overview:
The Officer – Travel is responsible for supporting the travel arrangement processes in accordance with company procedures and standards. The main duties include:
- Processing Travel Requests in line with established work standards as directed by the Supervisor.
- Updating the Infinity system and manifest data for employee rosters, accommodation, and flights based on actual movement.
- Ensuring accuracy and regular updates of the Infinity system and movement manifests.
- Recording all bookings related to tickets, transportation, and accommodation.
- Updating and submitting the daily movement roster spreadsheet as instructed.
- Maintaining a filing system and proper administration of travel documents, including Travel Requests, Hotel Guarantee Letters, ID Cards, Frequent Flyer information, and related records.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Minimum Senior High School, Diploma, or University degree in Management or a relevant field.
- 2–5 years of experience in travel arrangement, people services, or administrative roles.
- Proficient in spoken English.
- Familiar with email communications and computerized systems.
- Knowledge of airline and public transportation systems.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to a harmonious work environment.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Honest and service-oriented mindset.
