This position is based at the Martabe Site within the Community Development Department and reports directly to the Senior Supervisor of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Development.
The Supervisor – Business Development & Analysis is responsible for assessing baseline conditions to establish benchmarks for enhancing the local economic sector. The role involves conducting market potential research to support business feasibility analyses, evaluating locations to optimize marketing strategies, and driving innovation to enhance product and service quality in line with established standards. Additionally, the role includes overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of development initiatives.
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Food Technology, Tourism, Communication, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the MSME sector or mentoring MSMEs.
- Proficient in applying the Business Canvas Model concept.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the export sector.
- Skilled in developing business strategies and conducting comprehensive feasibility analyses, including operational, financial, and marketing evaluations.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting reports and identifying opportunities or challenges.
- Demonstrated skills in digital marketing and online business development.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to lead a team effectively.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, especially when interacting with business partners.
- Highly capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver results.
