For 24 days, from September 27, 2023 to November 4, 2023, PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) held Basic Level Embroidery Training for members of the Batuhula Village Sewing Group, Batangtoru Sub-District. This training is aimed at increasing the capacity of sewing business actors in Batuhula Village to be more creative, especially in increasing their product variety so they can compete with other sewing business actors.
The ten participants who took part in this training were guided intensively by instructors from the Cahaya Padangsidimpuan Social Welfare Organizing Institute (LPKS). It is hoped that through this embroidery training, the business activities in the Batuhula sewing group will develop, thus increasing the income of members and the surrounding community.
In her remarks, PTAR’s Senior Manager of Community Christine Pepah said that, since 2021, PTAR has been providing continuous guidance to the Batuhula Village sewing group to support the community business development, improve the family economy, and create new jobs for the direct affected villages (DAV).
Head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the South Tapanuli Regency Job Training Center (BLK) Mina Sonita Hutasoit is very grateful for PTAR’s continuous guidance to the DAV community. This was conveyed in her opening speech for this training.
