Agincourt Resources and IPB Collaborate on Biodiversity Conservation Strategy

In a proactive step towards preserving biodiversity within the operational boundaries of the Martabe Gold Mine, a Cooperation Agreement for the Development of Biodiversity Conservation Strategy was signed on Monday, January 15, 2024. The agreement was jointly signed by Vice President Director Ruli Tanio and the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Dr. Berry Juliandi, S.Si, M.Si. 

Beyond the formal signing ceremony, the meeting brought together a delegation of scientists and researchers from IPB, including Dr. Puji Rianti, Dr. Ir. Entang Iskandar, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Hamim M.Si. They engaged in discussions with representatives from Agincourt Resources management, including Director Sanny Tjan, General Manager Operations Rahmat Lubis, Manager Environmental Mahmud Subagya, Manager Stakeholder Relations Bayu Wicaksono, and Manager Public Relations Reni Radhan. The discussions covered various environmental initiatives and programs of the company. Additionally, the delegation was taken on a tour to enhance their understanding of the operations at the Martabe Gold Mine.
