The Specialist Doctor in the Village Program was held again on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Sub-District Health Center (Puskesmas Pembantu) in Muara Ampolu Village, Muara Batangtoru Sub-District. The program targeted residents from four villages in the Muara Batangtoru Sub-District, namely Manompas Village, Simarlelan Village, Muara Opu Village, and Muara Ampolu Village. The activity aimed at bringing healthcare services closer to the community is progressing well and smoothly with 160 enthusiastic citizens coming for treatment and receiving excellent services from three specialist doctors specializing in pediatric, obstetrics and gynecology, and internal medicine.
Agincourt Resources’ Community Development Manager, Rohani Simbolon, stated that the program, aimed at providing free medical services and treatment to all layers of society in need, was organized by Agincourt Resources in collaboration with the South Tapanuli District Health Office and the Regional General Hospital of Tapanuli District. The facilities provided in this social service were also quite comprehensive, including EKG, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid examinations, as well as ultrasound examinations for pregnant women.
