Agincourt Resources Inaugurated Integrated Team to Strengthen Processed Water Quality Monitoring

On Friday and Saturday, October 4-5, 2024, at the Santika Medan Hotel, Agincourt Resources held an inauguration ceremony for 16 Integrated Team for the 2024-2026 term. This inauguration marks a significant milestone in the Company’s efforts to enhance environmental management, particularly in the management of mining processed water. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the South Tapanuli Regency, Sofyan Adil Siregar, who also serves as the Chairperson of the 2024-2026 Integrated Team, the Head of the South Tapanuli Environmental Agency (DLH), Ongku Muda Atas, the Head Department of the DLH South Tapanuli, Herman Siregar, the Head Section of the DLH South Tapanuli, Dakkal Harahap, Senior Manager of Government Relations at Agincourt Resources, Irwanto Situmorang, Manager of Community Relations at Agincourt Resources, Masdar Muda Hasibuan, and various representatives from departments within Agincourt Resources. 

Prior to their inauguration, the Integrated Team members underwent intensive training delivered by experts from the University of North Sumatra (USU) and Graha Nusantara University (UGN). The training materials covered various aspects, ranging from processed water treatment technology, environmental regulations, to water quality monitoring techniques.

“The inauguration of this Integrated Team is concrete evidence of our commitment to continuously improving our environmental performance. We hope that with this team, cooperation between the company, government, and community can be strengthened in preserving the environment,” said Irwanto Situmorang. 

Masdar Muda Hasibuan expressed hope that the Integrated Team could serve as a bridge between the company and the community. “We hope that the Integrated Team can convey accurate and transparent information to the community regarding the company’s efforts in protecting the environment,” he said. 

The Secretary of South Tapanuli Regency, Sofyan Adil Siregar, also expressed his appreciation for Agincourt Resources’ initiative. “The formation of this Integrated Team is a very positive step. We hope that the team can carry out its duties well and become a strategic partner for the government in monitoring and ensuring that environmental management in Agincourt Resources’ operational area is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations,” he stated.
