Strengthening Access, Bringing Healthcare Closer: Through the Handover of the Renovated Muara Manompas Sub-Health Centre

Efforts to provide more accessible, integrated, and high-quality healthcare services for the community continue to be strengthened. On 17th March 2026, Agincourt Resources carried out the handover of the renovated facility and medical equipment at the Muara Manompas Sub-Health Centre (Puskesmas Pembantu/Pustu) as part of its commitment to improving healthcare services.

Previously, healthcare services in the area were considered not yet optimally integrated, with facilities still operating separately. In addition, the achievement of Minimum Service Standards (Standar Pelayanan Minimal/SPM) in South Tapanuli Regency, particularly in Muara Batang Toru Subdistrict, still requires improvement.

Efforts to provide more accessible, integrated, and high-quality healthcare services for the community continue to be strengthened. On 17th March 2026, Agincourt Resources carried out the handover of the renovated facility and medical equipment at the Muara Manompas Sub-Health Centre (Puskesmas Pembantu/Pustu) as part of its commitment to improving healthcare services.

Through this programme, Agincourt Resources supports the implementation of Primary Healthcare Integration (Integrasi Layanan Primer/ILP), an approach that brings together various types of healthcare services into a unified system. ILP is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 on good health and well-being, and contributes to the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045 in developing productive human resources.

This initiative also forms part of the Community Development and Empowerment Programme (Program Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat/PPM), which is regulated under the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation and encompasses eight development pillars, including health, education, economic development, socio-cultural aspects, and supporting infrastructure.

The South Tapanuli Regency Health Office expressed its appreciation for the support provided. With the availability of this facility, access to comprehensive healthcare servicesranging from promotive (health promotion), preventive (disease prevention), curative (treatment), rehabilitative (recovery), to palliative (patient support) care has become more accessible for the community, particularly in Muara Manompas and its surrounding areas.
