Rianiate and Sibara-Bara Villages Received Aid Following Floods

Rianiate and Sibara-Bara Villages in the Angkola Sangkunur District received assistance from Agincourt Resources after being affected by floods due to heavy rainfall from October 10-14, 2024. Hundreds of families were impacted and sought refuge in safer homes within the community. Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the South Tapanuli Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Village Disaster Resilience Group (Destana), provided much-needed aid. 

The assistance provided by Agincourt Resources included essential food items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, canned sardines, instant noodles, eggs, and salted fish. Aid was distributed to 270 families in Rianiate Village and 80 families in Sibara-Bara Hamlet. Rianiate Village Head, Rahmaini, expressed gratitude to the company for their support. “The assistance from Agincourt Resources is invaluable to us and the flood-affected families. We extend our deepest thanks,” she said.
