On Sunday, December 22, 2024, in celebration of Mother’s Day, Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the Sahabat Cerdas Association (PERSADA) and Sanggar Seni Sopo Daganak, held the 2024 Children’s Art Performance at Sopo Daganak in Napa Village. This event featured a variety of captivating performances, ranging from traditional dances to modern music, and was attended by Farah Alia Az Zahra, the 2024 Indonesian Children’s Environmental Princess.
The primary goal of this event was to foster children’s love for both local, national, and international cultures while inspiring them through the stories of a mother’s sacrifices. Additionally, the event aimed to strengthen the relationship between Agincourt Resources, PERSADA, and the local community, particularly the parents. For the children, it served as a platform to express their talents and interests in the arts.

Rohani Simbolon, Community Development Manager of Agincourt Resources, expressed her appreciation for the event. “Through various Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) programs, Agincourt Resources is committed to improving the quality of human resources in South Tapanuli. This Art Performance is a tangible manifestation of that commitment,” she said.
Batang Toru District Head, Mara Tinggi Siregar, emphasized the significance of commemorating Mother’s Day as a tribute to mothers’ struggles. “Mother’s Day is not merely a greeting or an annual celebration on a specific date. It is much more than that, as mothers face life’s challenges every single day. Let us honor and pray for our mothers, wishing them good health and continuous protection under the grace of Almighty God,” he stated.
Farah Alia Az Zahra, the 2024 Indonesian Children’s Environmental Princess, shared an inspiring message with the children. “I am delighted to be here and meet friends with such extraordinary talents. Hopefully, the children mentored by Agincourt Resources can achieve success both nationally and internationally,” she said.
