Agincourt Resources held a Workshop and Team Building in the Vocational Education Development Program for SMK Negeri 1 Batang Toru and SMK Negeri 1 Muara Batang Toru on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Aek Saboan, Marancar District. The event aimed to enhance team collaboration skills to achieve common goals, encourage effective and open communication, build trust among team members, and create a new paradigm of connection and involvement within the educational organization. Additionally, the workshop focused on understanding industry culture and innovation in education, raising awareness about the importance of an integrated educational process cycle, and strengthening the character of educators in line with school values.
The workshop was conducted by speakers from United Tractors School (UT School), namely Sri Sadono, Nanda Rafidah, and Indahinsani Purnasari. The event involved leaders, teachers, and educators from SMK Negeri 1 Batang Toru, with 29 participants, and SMK Negeri 1 Muara Batang Toru, with 16 participants.

This program was designed to strengthen team collaboration so participants could collectively achieve the vision and mission of the school organization. The workshop not only boosted team spirit but also fostered cohesive work dynamics and provided valuable insights for the development of the educational organization. Team building is a crucial element in improving team performance, strengthening relationships among members, increasing motivation and work enthusiasm, and building a positive organizational culture. Through this workshop, it is expected that participants can apply the skills acquired in their daily work environment to achieve better school goals.
In his speech, Agincourt Resources Superintendent of Community Service, Yayan Nuryawan, stated, “Agincourt Resources remains committed to supporting the improvement of education quality, particularly through vocational education development programs. This collaboration is time-bound, and we hope the schools will respond optimally to the mentoring program provided. Our role is not to replace the government’s duties but to act as a strategic partner supporting the education programs that have been established,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Muara Batang Toru, Siti Masito Sinaga, expressed appreciation for the event. “This training has been both a refreshing and enlightening experience for us as educators, helping us to remain solid in building cooperation between teachers and the school principal,” she said. She also hoped that the synergy with Agincourt Resources would continue. “We hope Agincourt Resources will continue to be a strategic partner in supporting sustainable education programs for the advancement of the school and its students,” she concluded.
