Agincourt Resources conducted its first batch of offline thematic training on Saturday and Sunday, 5–6 July 2025, at Sopo Daganak in Napa Village. The program aimed to enhance the capacity of local entrepreneurs in utilizing social media and information and communication technologies (ICT) to support promotion, marketing, and access to market and customer information.
On the first day of training, 29 participants joined the Public Speaking class facilitated by Public Communication Practitioner Ryandwana Pujakasa Famly. This session focused on strengthening effective speaking skills to support local product sales strategies. Participants were not only provided with theoretical material but also engaged in hands-on practice to help them master persuasive communication techniques and deliver compelling presentations to potential customers.
The second day featured a Phone Photography and Videography session attended by 27 entrepreneurs. The class was led by Digital Content Practitioner Giri Maulana, who gave a technical explanation of product shooting techniques, lighting setups, and video content creation using smartphones and simple tools such as lights and reflectors. Participants were assigned to produce a video based on the training content, which served as an evaluation exercise. The best submission will be awarded the Best Participant title along with a cash prize sponsored by Agincourt Resources.
The training program was officially closed by Agincourt Resources’ Senior Manager of Community Development, Christine Pepah, who expressed appreciation to the facilitation team from MySkill and to the participants for their enthusiastic engagement. “This training reflects our strong commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs to remain competitive in the digital era. Living in a village does not mean our businesses should fall behind those in urban areas. Social media has opened up boundless opportunities for anyone willing to grow,” she stated.
