Agincourt Resources participated in the Indonesian Blasting Engineer Society (IBES) Conference held on Wednesday and Thursday, 9–10 July 2025, at the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel. The company was represented by Senior Drill & Blast Engineer Nella Lubis and Drill & Blast Engineer Destaria Siregar, who both served as speakers in a presentation session titled “Technology Helps, Behavior Sustains: Building Excellence in Drill & Blast Operations at the Martabe Gold Mine.”
The presentation highlighted how advanced technologies have been implemented in drilling and blasting activities at the Martabe Gold Mine. More importantly, it emphasized that operational excellence does not rely solely on technological sophistication, but also on consistent and disciplined team behavior, along with a continuous improvement mindset.
Participation in this conference also included the acceptance of an award presented by the Indonesian Mining Professionals Association (PERHAPI) to Agincourt Resources’ Superintendent of Drill & Blast, Rudolf Sitorus, who represented both PERHAPI and Agincourt Resources as the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) Conference 2025, held in Cherokee, North Carolina, United States. The award was symbolically received by Nella Lubis as the Company’s representative.
IBES 2025 was attended by over 320 participants from various countries, representing more than 30 companies engaged in the explosives industry for mining, quarrying, and construction sectors. The event served as a strategic platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences, while also enhancing industry players’ competencies in implementing cutting-edge technology and high safety standards in blasting operations.

This national-level annual conference is an important forum for professionals, academics, researchers, and industry practitioners to present research findings, innovations, case studies, and best practices in drilling and blasting.
