The effort to cultivate a generation of outstanding young farmers was reaffirmed through the Field Assessment of the Millennial Farmer Actor Program (PAM) Panorama 2025, held on 26th August 2025 at the CV Agro Sipirok Hijau (ASH) nursery site in Sumuran Village, Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency.

The event was attended by the Head of the Agriculture Office of South Tapanuli Regency, Efrida Yanti Pakpahan, as well as representatives of the judges from PT Pamapersada Nusantara, Suryadi and Remi Fidwiyanto, and partners from the Sumatra Rainforest Institute, Feny Maylinda and Meli Mandasari Harahap. Support was also provided by two supervising teachers and seven students from Martabe Sipirok Private Vocational School, together with 15 mentored millennial farmers.
In his remarks, Superintendent of Community Development, Yandi Rama Krisna, emphasised the continuity of PAM, which has been running since 2023 and is now focused on capacity building and the establishment of the Agricultural and Rural Self-Reliance Training Centre (P4S).

Meanwhile, Efrida Yanti Pakpahan expressed her appreciation and hopes that PAM can enhance the dignity and welfare of local farmers. Judge representative Remi Fidwiyanto added the importance of implementing smart farming technologies so that the younger generation can become successful farmers in the future.
