The transition towards clean energy relies not only on technology, but also on educators who instil awareness of the importance of sustainability. This spirit underpinned Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the Regional Education Office XI of North Sumatra Province and the Centre for the Development and Quality Assurance of Vocational Education (BBPPMPV) for Building and Electricity, in organising the Upskilling and Reskilling Training on Renewable Energy for vocational schoolteachers across South Tapanuli Regency, held from 22nd September to 1st October 2025 in Medan.

A total of 30 participants took part in the training, which combined theoretical and practical learning on solar power plant (PLTS) systems. Through sessions on planning, construction, and installation, the teachers gained not only technical skills but also a deeper understanding of how renewable energy concepts can be integrated into classroom teaching.
Superintendent Community Services, Yayan Nuryawan, stated that enhancing the capacity of vocational teachers is a vital step in preparing young generations aligned with the needs of industry and the workforce. Head of BBPPMPV BBL Medan, Drs. Rasoki Lubis, M.Pd, added that this training exemplifies the synergy between education and industry. Meanwhile, Head of Vocational High Schools Division, North Sumatra Provincial Education Office, Suhendri, expressed appreciation for Agincourt Resources’ support in strengthening vocational teachers’ competencies in the region.

Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources reaffirms its commitment to supporting adaptive and sustainable vocational education in the era of renewable energy.
