Agincourt Resources’ commitment to education and environmental conservation has once again delivered encouraging results. Three Agincourt Resources–supported schools from South Tapanuli Regency have received the 2025 National Adiwiyata Award, presented at an official ceremony held by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia on Thursday, 11th December 2025, at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta.
The awards were conferred on SDN No. 100707 Perkebunan Batang Toru, SMPN 2 Batang Toru, and SMKN 2 Batang Toru, all of which have benefited from ongoing mentoring through Agincourt Resources’ Adiwiyata development programme in collaboration with the South Tapanuli Regional Environmental Agency (DLHD). The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, alongside representatives of regional governments and award-winning schools from across Indonesia.
The Adiwiyata Programme forms part of the School Environmental Care and Culture Movement (Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di Sekolah – GPBLHS), which promotes the integration of environmental values into school curricula, governance, and the daily behaviour of school communities. The programme also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goals 12 and 13, which focus on sustainable consumption and climate awareness.
The Head of the South Tapanuli Regional Environmental Agency, H. Ongku Muda Atas, expressed his appreciation for the achievement, noting that it reflects both Agincourt Resources’ consistent support and the schools’ strong commitment to implementing the Adiwiyata programme. Similarly, the Principal of SMPN 2 Batang Toru expressed hope that this achievement would serve as a foundation for nurturing a new generation that is environmentally conscious and culturally aware.
Through its continued support for environmental education, Agincourt Resources reaffirms its commitment to growing alongside local communities and fostering future generations who are environmentally responsible, accountable, and competitive.
