Amid the post-disaster recovery process, Agincourt Resources carried out a Community Fun Day. This activity was not only intended as a space for togetherness, but also served as a platform to listen directly, gain a deeper understanding, and respond to the needs of disaster survivors. The event was held on 18th April 2026 at the Temporary Shelter (Hunian Sementara/Huntara) in Napa Village.
Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources together with the community sought to rebuild the spirit and hope that had been affected. Various simple activities such as morning group exercise, educational games, and questionnaire filling were conducted as part of a participatory approach. These activities not only created a sense of togetherness but also became an important means to map community needs in a more structured and targeted way.

From this process, it is expected that well-targeted training and community development programmes will emerge, enabling disaster survivors to recover, become self-reliant, and establish sustainable livelihoods.
“Community Fun Day was initiated as a space for us to truly listen to the voices of the community. Every interaction and input we receive becomes a crucial foundation in designing more precise and sustainable recovery programmes. We hope this activity can serve as an initial step towards rebuilding community independence,” said the Superintendent of Local Economic Development, Yandi Rama Krisna.

Meanwhile, the Head of Garoga Village, Risman Rambe, expressed appreciation for the implementation of the programme, which is considered to have brought positive impact to the community. “This activity not only fosters togetherness but also revives the community’s spirit to recover and rebuild their lives. We hope such collaboration continues for the greater good of the community in the future,” he said.
