In an effort to develop skill programs at SMK Negeri 1 Batangtoru and SMK Negeri 1 Muara Batangtoru, aiming to transform them into Centers of Excellence in Vocational Education with an industry-based work culture (school business), Agincourt Resources conducted Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for school principals, teachers, and students from both schools on January 23-25, 2024.
The Bimtek, held at each school, focused on the Agribusiness of Food Crops and Horticulture (ATPH) as well as Agricultural Processing Agrotechnology (APHP) majors. The topics covered included the Analysis of the Teaching Factory Implementation Process, Evaluation of Teaching Factory Implementation, and the Development of Teaching Factory Follow-up Plans. As speakers, PTAR invited four experts from the Vocational Education Quality Assurance Development Center (BBPPMPV), namely Prima Agung Prihandono, S.P., M.Si., Wahyu Kuncoro, S.St.Pi., M.Si., Zaenudhin Judho DP, S.Hut., M.Pd., and Daniel Daniawan Hasan, S.E.
Superintendent of Community Services, Yayan Nuryawan, stated that the implementation of this Bimtek is one way the company supports the Teaching Factory implementation at SMK Negeri 1 Batangtoru and SMK Negeri 1 Muara Batangtoru in accordance with the standards of the Business and Industrial Work World (DUDIKA). The support involves strengthening the competencies of educators and students, monitoring the Teaching Factory implementation processes at both schools, and subsequently conducting evaluations and providing recommendations.
