In an ongoing effort to continuously improve the quality of healthcare services in South Tapanuli, Agincourt Resources held a special health seminar program for healthcare workers. This program provided education and training from specialist doctors to 150 healthcare workers and Posyandu cadres in three subdistricts, namely Batang Angkola, Muara Tais, and Sayur Matinggi. The seminar was held on May 18, 2024, at the Pasar Lama Village Hall, Batang Angkola Subdistrict.

The seminar featured three speakers: obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Ryan Andrian, SP.OG, pediatrician Dr. Syahreza Hasibuan, SP.A, and internist Dr. Abdus Somad Harahap, Sp.PD. Dr. Ryan discussed optimizing the role of village cadres and midwives in monitoring the health of pregnant women to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality rates. Dr. Syahreza discussed the management of seizures in children, while Dr. Abdus discussed the detection and management of gout arthritis.
In his speech, the Head of the South Tapanuli District Health Office, Dr. Rudi Iskandar Harahap M.Kes, expressed his gratitude to Agincourt Resources for their concern for the health of the community in the region. Real actions like this demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting the government’s efforts to improve the well-being of the community.
