Batang Toru, 25 May 2024 – Sopo Daganak Dance Studio proudly brought home three prestigious titles at the National Creative Dance Festival on Saturday, May 25, 2024, held at the Riau Pavilion, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. The winners of this competition will later become Indonesian delegates to perform on international stages.
Competing in the Teenager Group category, Sopo Daganak Dance Studio managed to sweep three awards: 2nd Place Winner for Teenager Group Dance Category (will become a cultural delegation to Turkey), top Vote Winner for Group Category (will become a cultural delegation to Milan), and top 10 Dance Competition Participants (will become a cultural delegation to Malaysia).

Sopo Daganak Dance Studio is one of the community development programs run by Perkumpulan Sahabat Cerdas (Persada), a non-profit social organization fully supported through the Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program.
Dastri Sejoli Harahap, Chairperson of Persada, expressed her gratitude to all parties, including Agincourt Resources, for their support. “This achievement motivates us and the younger generation to continue creating and bringing honor to the name of South Tapanuli, especially Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru,” she said.
