Martabe Goes to School and Martabe Mengajar Brightens the Future of Local Education

The future of education in Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts is now brighter with the launch of two innovative programs from Agincourt Resources: Martabe Goes to School and Martabe Mengajar. Launched on Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Hall of SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru, these programs target students from elementary school (SD) to high school (SMA), with the aim of enhancing the quality and capacity of Human Resources (HR). 

Agincourt Resources’ Senior Manager of Human Capital Development, Sandra V. Makadada, explained that these programs align with the Company’s core values of GREAT.

“These programs are expected to help improve the HR in the mining area, which will in turn have a positive impact on the quality of life of the community,” she said. 

 Mangatas Siregar, Representative of the Regional Office XI North Sumatra, welcomed the launch of the Martabe Goes to School and Martabe Mengajar programs.

“We express our gratitude to Agincourt Resources for their great concern in supporting education, both formal and non-formal,” said Mangatas. “Currently, there is a good collaboration between Agincourt Resources and schools at both SMA and SMK levels,” he added. 

With the launch of the Martabe Goes to School and Martabe Mengajar programs, Agincourt Resources is confident that it can contribute to creating a generation of young people who are intelligent, creative, and have good character in Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts. These programs are a manifestation of the Company’s commitment to building a brighter future for Indonesia through education.
