Agincourt Resources organized a workshop and team-building program as part of its vocational education development initiative at SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru. The activities were conducted in phases, starting at the school on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and continuing in Aek Sabaon, Marancar District, on Sunday, September 1, 2024. The primary goal of these activities was to foster a strong spirit of teamwork in achieving the school’s vision and mission.
A total of 39 teachers from various disciplines at SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru participated in the training. Agincourt Resources invited experts from United Tractors (UT) School Jakarta as speakers, including Rahmad Hendarto, Nanda Rafidah, and Indahinsani Purnasari. These speakers brought extensive experience in human resource development and delivered valuable insights to the participants.
The material covered a range of key topics, from organizational vision, mission, and values to creative thinking techniques and change management. Additionally, participants were encouraged to formulate long-term strategies to improve the quality of education at their school. Alongside the workshop sessions, the event also featured engaging outdoor activities, such as group games and volleyball.
Manager of Community Development at Agincourt Resources, Rohani Simbolon, expressed the hope that the collaboration between Agincourt Resources and SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru would continue. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting the development of education in this region. We hope the programs we have provided will benefit the teachers,” she said.
Erikson BM Sihombing, Principal of SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru, also expressed his appreciation for the support from Agincourt Resources. “The partnership with Agincourt Resources has brought many benefits to our school. We hope this collaboration will continue and further strengthen synergies in the field of education,” he stated.
