Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the South Tapanuli Regency Health Office, once again held the “Specialist Doctors Visit Villages” program. On Saturday, 3 May 2025, this medical initiative was brought to the Sipagimbar Health Center, located in the Saipar Dolok Hole Sub-district, to reach communities that have long struggled to access specialist medical services due to the distance from the Sipirok Regional General Hospital (RSUD), which requires a travel time of approximately two to three hours from Sipagimbar.
A total of 297 residents from various age groups, ranging from pregnant women and toddlers to the elderly, received free consultations and check-ups from three medical specialists: obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Ryan Andrian, Sp.OG; pediatrician Dr. Syahreza, M.Ked (Ped), Sp.A.; and internist Dr. Abdus Somad Harahap, Sp.PD.

Yayan Nuryawan, Superintendent of Community Services at Agincourt Resources, stated that this activity is not merely a corporate social responsibility initiative but also a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services directly to the communities in need.
South Tapanuli Regent Gus Irawan Pasaribu expressed his sincere appreciation for Agincourt Resources’ initiative and active role in bringing healthcare closer to the people. “This is an outstanding collaboration. The government cannot do this alone, and the involvement of private entities like Agincourt Resources greatly supports our efforts to reach remote areas,” he stated.
dr. Abdus Somad Harahap, Sp.PD., remarked that public enthusiasm for the program remains consistently high. “It’s always crowded—often exceeding the number of registered participants. This reflects the significant demand for specialist services, particularly for common complaints such as gastric disorders, hypertension, joint pain, and respiratory tract infections,” he explained.
One of the program beneficiaries, Rosalina Hasibuan, a nine-month pregnant resident of Sipagimbar, shared how the service has helped her. She had rarely undergone prenatal check-ups due to the long distance to the nearest hospital. “I’m nine months pregnant, but I’ve seldom gone for check-ups because the hospital is too far. After today’s consultation, I feel so much more at ease. The doctor even gave me vitamins,” she said with emotion.
