Post-disaster recovery efforts in the Batang Toru area continue to be strengthened through synergy between the central government, local government, and the business sector. On 23 December 2025, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Yuliot Tanjung, conducted a working visit to the Garoga Command Post, the temporary housing site in Batu Hula, and the Batu Hula Command Post to directly review recovery progress and the conditions of survivors affected by flash floods and landslides.

The visit was accompanied by Regent of South Tapanuli, H. Gus Irawan Pasaribu, President Director of Agincourt Resources, Muliady Sutio, and the Deputy General Manager Operations of Agincourt Resources, Wira Dharma Putra. At the Garoga Command Post, the Deputy Minister observed recovery efforts in the affected areas and engaged in dialogue with residents to hear first-hand the needs and challenges faced by survivors.

The agenda then continued at the temporary housing (huntara) site in Batu Hula, which has been prepared as a temporary relocation area for affected residents from Garoga Village and Huta Godang. At this location, Agincourt Resources has played an active role in clearing and preparing approximately 15 hectares of land to enable residents to live in a safer and more suitable environment.

During the visit, the Deputy Minister emphasised the importance of meeting basic needs, particularly access to clean water and electricity. The government has ensured the construction of bore wells and the installation of low-voltage electricity to support daily life in the temporary housing area.

As a tangible expression of concern, the visit to the Batu Hula Command Post also included the distribution of food assistance packages to survivors. The series of activities concluded with a meeting at the Martabe Gold Mine to discuss the acceleration of community and infrastructure recovery in an integrated manner. Through this collaboration, Agincourt Resources reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting communities and the government throughout the post-disaster recovery process in a sustainable and responsible manner.
