Climate change has become one of the world’s most pressing challenges, requiring active involvement from all parts of society, including younger generations who will play an important role in shaping the future of the environment. Building awareness of environmental issues from an early age is an important first step in fostering the understanding that protecting the planet is a shared responsibility.

In the spirit of commemorating World Environment Day 2026 under the theme Working for Climate, Agincourt Resources once again organised an environmental education programme through Martabe Green to School, which was held on 18th June 2026 at Senior High School 1 Batang Toru.
The activity was conducted as part of the Company’s efforts to broaden young people’s understanding of the importance of environmental protection and the challenges posed by climate change.
The Environment team of Agincourt Resources delivered materials on climate change, various global environmental challenges, and the importance of individual roles in supporting concrete environmental action. The session was delivered interactively, allowing students not only to gain new knowledge, but also to actively participate in discussions through various questions that reflected their strong enthusiasm towards environmental issues.
Through Martabe Green to School, Agincourt Resources continues to encourage the improvement of environmental literacy among younger generations while instilling the understanding that protecting the environment can begin with simple actions carried out in everyday life.
In line with the theme of World Environment Day 2026, this activity serves as a reminder that working for climate is not solely the responsibility of governments or industries but requires the involvement of everyone. Younger generations hold an important role in creating a more sustainable future through awareness, knowledge, and concrete action to protect the planet together.
