Public health is one of the essential foundations in creating a better quality of life. The availability of proper and accessible healthcare facilities is part of a collective effort to improve service quality, particularly for mothers and children as the next generation.
As part of its commitment to supporting sustainable development in its operational areas, Agincourt Resources, through its Pengembangan dan Permberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) programme, provided support for the construction of the Hutaraja Integrated Healthcare Service Post (Posyandu) building in Hutaraja Urban Village.
The inauguration and handover of the building construction assistance were conducted on 10 July 2026 through the signing of the Handover Minutes (BAST). The event was attended by Agincourt Resources Community Development Manager, Rohani Simbolon, together with the Community Relations Department (CRD) team, as well as representatives from the Muara Batang Toru District Government, Hutaraja Urban Village Government, village midwives, Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) cadres, and the Hutaraja Posyandu Building construction committee.
The establishment of this new facility marks a tangible step towards improving community access to healthcare services that are more comfortable, safe, and well-organised. Previously, Posyandu activities in Hutaraja Urban Village were carried out in simple settings, such as residents’ terraces or garages. With the availability of a dedicated Posyandu building, the community now has a more adequate space to support various public health activities.
The Head of Hutaraja Urban Village, together with the local community, expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the support provided through the 2025 PPM programme, which contributed to the realisation of this facility. The Hutaraja Posyandu Building is expected to enable more organised healthcare services and deliver broader benefits for the community.
