Infrastructure plays an important role in supporting daily activities and improving community comfort. Through its 2026 Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) Programme, Agincourt Resources supported infrastructure improvements in Batang Toru Subdistrict by renovating the Saba Lombang agricultural access road in Wek I and constructing a drainage channel in Wek IV.

The renovated Saba Lombang concrete agricultural access road was officially handed over on 2 October 2026, with representatives from Wek I, the Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK), and the road renovation committee in attendance. Originally constructed in 2012 through the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, the road had deteriorated, affecting the safety and comfort of users, particularly farmers who rely on it for their daily activities. The renovation is expected to restore the road’s condition and improve community mobility.

Meanwhile, the drainage channel in Wek IV was officially handed over on 3 October 2026 to representatives of the village administration and the construction committee. The project aimed to improve the capacity and functionality of the existing drainage system, which had experienced sedimentation and narrowing, increasing the risk of water accumulation, particularly during the rainy season.
In addition to helping reduce the risk of flooding in residential areas, the drainage channel supports water supply to fishponds managed by the local community. Water control gates installed at several points also help manage debris carried downstream from upstream areas.
Both initiatives resulted from the 2026 programme coordination process, which sought to address community infrastructure needs. By improving road access and water management, these projects are expected to benefit agricultural activities, residential environmental management, and local economic activities.
