To improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in South Tapanuli in line with the Main Performance Index of the South Tapanuli Regency Government, PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) collaborated with the South Tapanuli Education Service to organize GASING (Gampang, Asyik, dan Menyenangkan) Method Training for Elementary Schools in the Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru. This training is carried out for 14 days starting on October 30 2023 and closing on November 14, 2023, at SDN 100710 Hapesong Baru, Batangtoru Subdistrict. The GASING Method is a mathematics learning by Professor Yohanes Surya approach designed step by step to make it easy, enjoyable, and fun for children to master mathematics. This method teaches how to solve problems in a simpler way, combined with a logical approach. Children enjoy this learning experience as it is conducted through games. Based on the training evaluation, all participants were very enthusiastic because mathematics lessons had a difficult connotation with strict teachers, but with this method everything was refuted where all the students were cheerful and fun. Approximately 126 participants, including 32 elementary school (SD) teachers and 94 students from grade 4, attending. It is hoped that after participating in this training, the attendees will become more proficient in calculations using the GASING method and can become agents of change in South Tapanuli Regency, particularly in the Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru Subdistricts.
