Free Medical Outreach Heals Hundreds in Siunjam Village

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Agincourt Resources once again demonstrated its commitment to community health by organizing a free medical outreach program in Siunjam Village, Sayur Matinggi District. This humanitarian endeavor provided residents with the opportunity to receive free medical consultations from specialist doctors. 

A total of 168 residents of Siunjam Village took advantage of this opportunity to consult with specialists in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and internal medicine. A wide range of health complaints, from minor ailments to chronic diseases, were successfully addressed by the competent medical team.

The event featured the Director of Sipirok General Hospital, drg. Muhammad Firdaus Batubara, along with specialist doctors: dr. Ryan Andrian, SP.OG (Obstetrics and Gynecology), dr. Ratna Suwita Batubara, M.Ked(Ped),Sp.A (Pediatrics), and dr. Abdus Somad Harahap, Sp.PD (Internal Medicine). The doctors provided optimal care to the community, equipped with adequate examination facilities such as ultrasound, electrocardiogram (ECG), and blood tests for sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid. 

The Director of Sipirok General Hospital, drg. Muhammad Firdaus Batubara, commended Agincourt Resources’ initiative in organizing this program. “Such activities are highly beneficial for the community, especially those living in remote areas. With free healthcare services, people can more easily access quality healthcare,” he said. 

Suryadi, from the Tapanuli Selatan Health Agency, expressed appreciation for Agincourt Resources’ concern for community health. “We fully support programs undertaken by companies like Agincourt Resources. This program aligns with the government’s efforts to improve the health of the community,” he stated.

Based on the examination results, a significant portion of the patients presented with complaints of hypertension, high blood sugar, gastritis, and ulcers. Additionally, many pregnant women underwent prenatal check-ups. For children, the most common complaints were coughs, fever, earaches, and oral infections.
