In an effort to enhance the local economy and create job opportunities for the younger generation, Agincourt Resources organized an Ecoprint training from Monday to Sunday, October 14-20, 2024. The training, held at Sopo Daganak, Desa Napa, was attended by 19 participants representing 13 villages/kelurahan in the Batang Toru District.

Ecoprint, a natural dyeing technique that uses materials from nature such as leaves, flowers, and bark, was the focus of this training. Partnering with Ecoprint Bali, participants received intensive instruction from experts Arry Budiawan, I Kadek Herdiawan, and Moza Wahyu Eka Mukti. The training covered basic techniques as well as methods for producing high-quality Ecoprint fabrics.

“We hope this training will serve as a starting point for the community to develop creative businesses based on local resources and improve their welfare,” said Rohani Simbolon, Community Development Manager at Agincourt Resources.
