In collaboration with the Indonesian Science Olympiad Center (POSI), Agincourt Resources successfully held the Martabe Science Olympiad 2024 Awarding Ceremony at Sopo Daganak on Friday, January 17, 2025. The Martabe Science Olympiad 2024 is part of Agincourt Resources’ Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM), aimed at improving the quality of science education (mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry) in South Tapanuli and Padangsidimpuan.
Under the theme “Community Development and Empowerment,” the event was attended by a total of 3,785 teachers and students from various educational levels, ranging from elementary schools (SD and MI), junior high schools (SMP and MTs), to senior high schools (SMA, MA, and SMK) across South Tapanuli and Padangsidimpuan. They competed for 465 medals across 21 competition categories—11 for students and 10 for teachers. The competition took place on December 16, 2024, at SMA Kampus Padangsidimpuan, with the winners announced virtually on December 19, 2024, via Instagram live and shared links.

Rahmat Lubis, General Manager Operations of Agincourt Resources, expressed his pride in the enthusiasm of the participants during the awarding ceremony. “This event is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to supporting young generations and educators in improving the quality of education, especially in science. We believe that by providing opportunities to compete and excel, we can nurture outstanding talents who will bring positive change in the future,” said Rahmat.
One of the winners, Fitra Fauziah, shared her gratitude and pride for the invaluable experience the competition provided. “Thank you to Agincourt Resources and POSI for organizing this event, as well as to my teachers and parents for their unwavering support. This achievement will motivate me to continue learning and striving for even greater success in the future,” said the seventh-grade student from SMP Plus Islam Terpadu Pangsidimpuan.
