Monitoring the quality of processed water discharge forms an essential part of Agincourt Resources’ environmental responsibility. As part of this commitment, the company openly presented the laboratory test results of processed water from its mining operations to the public, reinforcing its dedication to transparency and accountability in environmental management.
On 14th February 2026, Agincourt Resources, together with the Integrated Monitoring Team for Processed Water Quality of the Martabe Gold Mine, announced the laboratory test results at a hotel in Padangsidimpuan.

The dissemination was attended by representatives of the community and various stakeholders. In his remarks, Senior Manager Environment, Health & Safety, Hari Ananto, stated that the session aimed to provide objective and comprehensive information regarding the quality of the company’s processed water discharge.

On the same occasion, Regional Secretary of Tapanuli Selatan, Sofyan Adil Siregar, expressed appreciation for the company’s openness in sharing the test results with the public. He emphasised that such transparency is vital in maintaining public trust and ensuring that environmental management is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.

This initiative is not new for communities within the mining operational area. Since 2013, Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the Integrated Monitoring Team, has routinely conducted sampling and testing of processed water discharged into the Batang Toru River. The analysed parameters include pH levels, total suspended solids, and heavy metal content such as arsenic, cadmium, and mercury, all of which remain below the government’s regulatory quality standards.

The open dissemination of laboratory results demonstrates that the company not only complies with regulations but also fosters constructive engagement with communities through transparent information practices. Such transparency forms a key foundation in ensuring that mining operations are carried out responsibly and sustainably.
