Sampling points are determined transparently, while the sampling process follows standard procedures to ensure the validity and accuracy of the test results.
The parameters tested include various aspects of water quality, such as acidity levels (pH), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), heavy metal content, and other parameters in accordance with applicable environmental quality standards. The collected samples are subsequently analysed by accredited laboratories, with the results shared with all relevant parties, including the communities involved in the monitoring process.
Community involvement in this process not only strengthens transparency and accountability but also provides opportunities for local communities to gain a direct understanding of the environmental management mechanisms implemented by the Company.
