Agincourt Resources Held Evaluation of Healthy Youth and GENRE School Programs for the 2023 Period

Every program requires assessment, and this holds true for initiatives under Agincourt Resources’ Community Development Program (PPM). On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Agincourt Resources undertook an evaluation of the Healthy Youth and Family Planning (GENRE) programs conducted during 2023. These programs were implemented across 15 junior high schools and high schools in the Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru sub-districts, benefiting a total of 180 students. The evaluation session delved into analyzing both the positive and negative impacts of the programs on students and schools, as well as identifying obstacles encountered and improvements made throughout the program’s duration.

Agincourt Resources’ Community Development Manager, Rohani Simbolon, stressed the importance of the Healthy Youth and GENRE initiatives in enhancing students’ knowledge, not only for personal growth but also for the betterment of the surrounding community, particularly given the rapid pace of technological advancements. Furthermore, the South Tapanuli District Government expressed gratitude for the significant support provided by these programs.  

The evaluation proceedings were held at the Batangtoru Community Health Center and were attended by a total of 65 individuals, including representatives from the South Tapanuli Health Office, the South Tapanuli Population and Family Planning Agency, 14 school principals and teachers from the beneficiary schools, as well as representatives from the Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru Community Health Centers. Alongside the evaluation, planning and innovation discussions for the 2024 program cycle were also conducted during this session.
