Agincourt Resources hosted a welcoming event for the participants of the Graduate Development Program (GDP) Batch 2, Class of 2025. Held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Recreation Hall of Martabe Gold Mine, the event marked a historic moment for 28 talented participants who successfully passed a rigorous selection process from a pool of 10,659 applicants.
The GDP is a career development program specifically designed for fresh graduates seeking to embark on a professional journey in the mining industry. This program offers participants the opportunity to enhance their competencies, expand their networks, and directly contribute to the Company’s operations.
In his welcoming speech, General Manager of Operations and Deputy Director of Operations at Agincourt Resources, Rahmat Lubis, shared his personal experiences and aspirations for the participants. “I am from Padangsidimpuan and studied at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This year, we are offering GDP participants a one-year learning opportunity, and we hope you will contribute fresh ideas to advance the Company,” said Rahmat Lubis. He also emphasized the importance of three core values that every Agincourt Resources employee must possess: integrity, capability, and loyalty.

The GDP participants eagerly shared their stories and hopes. Syaiful Anwar Sinaga, a Metallurgical Engineering graduate from ITB and a native of Padangsidimpuan, expressed his excitement about contributing to his hometown. “I want to apply the knowledge I have gained to make a positive impact on Martabe Gold Mine, particularly in the field of metallurgy,” he said.
Nana Ajelina Aryadilla, an Agrotechnology graduate from Malikussaleh University and a native of Pandan, Central Tapanuli, shared a similar enthusiasm. “I hope to contribute to the Company’s social programs and bring positive benefits to the local community,” said Nana.
Lilie Asima Manalu, an Information Systems graduate from the Del Institute of Technology, originally from Dairi, viewed the GDP as a significant opportunity for personal growth and a career in information technology. “I am very excited to learn new things and take an active role in developing my region,” she said.
