Out of 142 applicants who passed the administrative screening, 88 sat for the Academic Potential Test (TPA), followed by interviews. Ultimately, seven top candidates were chosen to undergo a 12-month training program that includes mental and physical development, theoretical classes, and hands-on experience through on-the-job training (OJT) across various regions in Indonesia.

“This training is a result of collaboration between Agincourt Resources and UT School. We hope the participants make the most of this opportunity,” said Christine Pepah, Senior Manager Community at Agincourt Resources. She also emphasized that while the training provides valuable skills, it does not guarantee direct employment at the company. Building on the success of the first batch in 2024, which graduated eleven participants, this year’s program is expected to produce another generation of skilled mechanics ready to thrive in the heavy equipment industry.
