Adequate infrastructure is essential for improving the social and economic wellbeing of communities. The damage to the bridge in Napa Village, Batang Toru Sub-district, had a significant impact on residents’ daily lives, from the distribution of goods and access to markets, to fulfilling basic needs such as clean water. In response, Agincourt Resources supported the construction of the Napa Bridge as a tangible contribution to enhancing the quality of life for the community.

The construction project, valued at IDR 393 million, was carried out through a self-managed scheme by the Napa Village Government, adhering to operational standards that emphasise quality, occupational safety, and transparency. The bridge, officially handed over on 13th September 2025, involved land preparation, the main structure, and supporting features to ensure it can be safely and comfortably used by the public.
Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office of South Tapanuli Regency, Fachri Ananda Harahap, underlined the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration. “The construction of this bridge is clear evidence of synergy between the local government, the company, and the community. With this facility, we hope to maintain accessibility and connectivity for the village, thereby supporting regional development,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Manager Community Development Agincourt Resources, Rohani Simbolon, highlighted the company’s commitment to social responsibility. “We believe infrastructure is the backbone of community development. The presence of this new bridge in Napa Village is expected to restore residents’ socio-economic activities and provide long-term benefits for future generations,” she said.
