Encouraging independence and empowering local communities around the mining area has long been a continuous commitment of Agincourt Resources. This commitment was reflected in the Closing Ceremony of the Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) Operator Training and the Announcement of the Winners of the Martabe Barista Competition 2025, held at Sopo Daganak on 28th October 2025.
The event was attended by Head of the South Tapanuli Regional Manpower Office, Achmad Raja Nasution, Head of the South Tapanuli Regency Vocational Training Centre (UPTD BLK), Mina Sonita Hutasoit, Manager Community Development of Agincourt Resources, Rohani Simbolon, and Project Manager of PT Macmahon Mining Services, Martabe Site, Canny Makadada.
In her remarks, Rohani Simbolon emphasised that integrity is everything in every training programme. “Skills will last only when accompanied by integrity and discipline. These are the values we strive to instil in every participant,” she said.
Meanwhile, Achmad Raja Nasution expressed his appreciation for the continuation of this programme as a tangible example of collaboration between industry and government in preparing a competitive workforce.
First Place Winner of the Martabe Barista Competition, Mora Ardiansyah Siregar from Aek Pining, shared that this achievement has greatly motivated him to continue improving his skills as a professional barista and to pursue his dream of owning a coffee shop in the future.
Meanwhile, Hamdan Halis, a participant of the ADT Training from the same village, said that the programme taught him the importance of discipline and prioritising safety in every task. The training has become a valuable foundation for him to seek employment as an ADT operator across various regions of Indonesia.
Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources continues to strengthen its commitment to building community independence and nurturing a generation of skilled, disciplined, and integrity-driven workers in South Tapanuli.
