Improving the quality of education plays a vital role in shaping a competitive and well-rounded generation. Through its Community Development Programme (PPM), Agincourt Resources once again demonstrates its commitment by supporting the construction of a new classroom at MTs Swasta Nurul Huda, Hutaraja, Muara Batang Toru.
The handover was carried out on 12th February 2026 and was attended by company representatives, school management, village officials, teachers, and students. The construction was implemented through a self-managed scheme, reflecting a collaborative approach between the company and the school. This approach ensures that the project not only delivers physical infrastructure but also fosters a sense of ownership among beneficiaries.
The support, valued at IDR 220,167,000, included the construction of one fully equipped classroom along with the provision of furniture, comprising 30 desks and chairs, cabinets, and a whiteboard. The facility will support teaching and learning activities for 108 students and 10 educators, including the Principal.
In her remarks, Principal of MTs Swasta Nurul Huda Hutaraja, Gontina Sari, expressed appreciation for the support, noting that it significantly assists the school in providing more adequate learning facilities. Meanwhile, Infrastructure Superintendent, Agus Sudono, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering quality facilities while encouraging community involvement to ensure sustainability and proper maintenance.
This initiative represents the second phase of support following the renovation of three classrooms in 2023. Through continued efforts, Agincourt Resources aims to enhance the quality of education and strengthen the foundation for the future of Hutaraja’s younger generation.
