Agincourt Resources’ commitment to support education has been realised through the construction of a classroom for Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) in Desa Napa, Batang Toru Subdistrict. The handover ceremony took place on 13th September 2025, attended by representatives of the subdistrict government, the Head of Desa Napa, the Village Consultative Body, and residents.

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah is a community-based educational institution established on the initiative of local people, long serving as a centre for Islamic education for children and adolescents. It is regarded as the embryo of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and today plays a crucial role in shaping a moderate young generation while helping to prevent radicalism. With the new classroom, teaching and learning are expected to take place in a more comfortable and conducive environment.
The construction of the MDT Desa Napa classroom, valued at IDR 531 million, was carried out through a tender process with a local contractor. All work adhered to Agincourt Resources’ operational standards, ensuring that construction quality was maintained. Beyond the physical building, the project involved the community from planning through to committee formation, fostering a strong sense of ownership.
Manager Community Development Agincourt Resources, Rohani Simbolon, expressed her hopes for this initiative:
“We believe education is the foundation for shaping a young generation with character and strong moral values. The presence of this new classroom at MDT Desa Napa is expected to inspire pupils, teachers, and the wider community to continue striving for quality education,” she said.
The programme aims to provide a proper learning facility, enhance the enthusiasm of both pupils and teachers, and create a more supportive educational environment. In the long term, the MDT Desa Napa development contributes to strengthening the village’s educational capacity and improves basic social infrastructure to support public services in education.
