Securing a halal certificate is essential for culinary products to access a broader market. Furthermore, starting from October 17, 2024, food and beverage products must possess halal certification, as mandated by Law No. 33 of 2014.
In the anticipation that all food and beverage products from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) supported by Agincourt Resources can swiftly acquire halal certification, Agincourt Resources has joined forces with the Institute for Halal Product Process Assistance (LP3H) Edukasi Wakaf Indonesia Yogyakarta to provide support in the halal certification application.
The support activities are carried out in two phases. On December 18, 2023, assistance was rendered in the meeting room at Sopo Daganak, Napa Village, and attended by 16 home-based culinary entrepreneurs backed by Agincourt Resources from 15 surrounding villages. Simultaneously, on December 20, 2023, at the meeting room of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in Napa Village, 17 home-based culinary entrepreneurs supported by Agincourt Resources took part in this assistance.
Alongside the assistance for halal certification, this event also featured a briefing on the free halal certificate program, a government initiative facilitated through the Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
